METHOD FOR PARTIAL CYSTOPLASTY WITH RESTRICTED CUTANEOUS-MUSCULAR FRAGMENT OF RECTUS MUSCLE OF ABDOMEN Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, urology. SUBSTANCE: after cystotomy one should develop restricted cutaneousmuscular fragment including large portion of rectus muscle of abdomen together with inferior epigastric artery and vein. This fragment should be turned with its cutaneous surface inside bladder's cavity. The part of fragment including skin, aponeurosis, muscle should be applied onto cystic wound to suture with wound's edges. Drainage tube should be installed into bladder's cavity. Additionally, bladder should be drained with a catheter through urethra. The present method enables to carry out partial cystoplasty at large defects, restore normal capacity of the bladder.
