SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of fastening part and arranging worn portions horizontally; placing horizontal electrode with gap over worn portion at forming electric current arc and performing surfacing; setting gap value between electrode and surfaced surfaces by means of slit rings put onto electrode and made of electrically insulated material with low fireproofness; at restoring impeller of digger with worn portions arranged in different planes, fixing impeller on axle placed horizontally and vertically at surfacing blades and lateral sides of impeller respectively; rotating impeller around axis for surfacing next blades and separated by blades lateral sides of cavity; surfacing each blade by means of electrodes bent by angle less than 90 degrees and placing electrodes on each blade along impeller axis; surfacing each portion of impeller cavity by means of straight electrodes successively introduced into cavity; arranging electrodes over next surfaced zone while selecting length of each electrode according to maximum length of surfaced zone; using the same electrode for several small-length stripe zones. EFFECT: simple mobile easy-to-use reliable method for high-quality surfacing of worn portions of dredge impeller and other parts with similar worn surfaces. 5 dwg
