APPARATUS FOR SURFACING BY MEANS OF LYING ELECTRODE AT RESTORING WORN SURFACE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: welding processes and equipment, possibly restoration and repairing of worn parts by surfacing. SUBSTANCE: surfacing chambers and electrode holder are in the form of unified modules. Electrode holder is arranged on jointly mounted cantilever having attachment for successive fixation of electrode holder over one of surfacing chambers at surfacing process. Said chambers are arranged uniformly on rotary table and they are secured to respective cantilevers. Each surfacing chamber has bottom, vertical guides, back and front movable walls. Front movable wall of each chamber is mounted in vertical guides and it rests upon bottom inclined relative to front wall. Stoppers of restored parts are secured to back wall of each surfacing chamber. Electric current supply lead is in the form of graphite plate, it is secured to stationary bracket, has screw and forcing rotary cam joined with said screw. EFFECT: simple mobile easy-to-use reliable apparatus suitable for operation in small-area production rooms, possibility for restoring worn surfaces of impellers of dredge and other parts with similar worn surfaces. 2 cl, 3 dwg
