FIELD: explosives. SUBSTANCE: improved signal-transmitting igniting fuse consists of tube, covering from outside supporting tape with applied reactive coating thereon, which is held on one of the sides of tape with the aid of adhesive. Igniting fuse is manufactured by applying on supporting tape adhesive including reactive paint, which dry and thereby form reactive coating. Supporting tape is then rolled up to form groove-like or tubular structure providing internal concave side of tube, which is covered by reactive coating. Supporting tape with coating is inserted into envelope, for instance inside of pressed plastic tube. One side of tape may be made of first material, on which reactive coating is applied, and the other side is made from second material, which is glued to inner surface of plastic tube surrounding coated tape. Adhesive enables holding reactive coating on coated supporting tape even in case when reactive coating has great charge so preventing displacement of material. In addition, during manufacture process, tape serves as protective layer between reactive material and surrounding hot, immediately after pressing, plastic tube.
