FIELD: oil and gas producing industry; compositions for shutoff or limiting of water inflow to oil and gas wells. SUBSTANCE: composition contains odium silicate, polyhydric alcohol, electrolyte, additive and water. Electrolyte is used in form of aluminochloride, and additive, in form of glass microspheres. Compositions has the following amounts of its components, wt. %: sodium silicate (0.3-12.9); polyhydric alcohol 2.2-8.5; aluminochloride 2.3-4.6; glass microspheres 0.2-0.3; the balance, water.
