FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion piston engine, mainly diesel engines. Proposed chamber contains guide cylinder accommodating movable working cylinder in form of cup whose inner space is covered with heat- insulating and heat-resistant layers. Inner space encloses piston made in form of fixed cylindrical projection on end of which ring seal is fitted in slot and lubricant inlet and outlet channels are provided. Piston accommodates also fuel nozzle and valve mechanism. Working cylinder reciprocates in guide cylinder changing volume of chamber according to working cycle. High temperature is set inside chamber owing to combustion of fuel, but owing to the fact that outer walls of working cylinder are thermally isolated from inner walls by heat insulating layer, their temperature is relatively low, which provides favorable lubricating conditions of guide cylinder which takes up side load from crank mechanism, thus unloading ring seal along which red-hot heat-resistant layer of inner side wall of working cylinder slides. Lubricant is pressure-fed to ring seal along channel. Said lubricant penetrates through clearances in slot or through corresponding holes in ring seals getting to friction points. Lubricant flowing along slot cools ring and gets out through channel. EFFECT: increased efficiency in operation. 1 dwg
