FIELD: equipment for grinding petroleum coke. SUBSTANCE: rotor-type grinder has feeding chamber, casing, discharge chamber, rotor provided with beaters, rotor drive having predetermined rotational speed, movable grating mounted on layer made in the form of sieving surface, such as perforated sheet arranged in spaced relation with respect to grinder base and fixed on spring-loaded stepped supports. Top part of grate bar is fixed on rotary joints for transverse motion with respect to beaters. Grate bars may be formed as truncated cones with concave top ends.
