FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rotary crusher comprises a casing with receiving and unloading chambers, a rotor, a travelling chain grate and a screening surface. The crusher is equipped by an additional travelling chain grate installed in the casing. The rotor and travelling chain grates of crescent shape are made with corrugation in the form of truncated cones with concave top bases for positive catch and prevention of crushing of the processed material. The grates are replaceable. The grates are set so that their lower and upper ends are able of cross travelling together with the screening surface to control the degree of material crushing by adjusting the gap between the rotor and the grates. The crusher casing is rigidly mounted on a frame.
EFFECT: use of the invention will allow for the improvement of raw material crushing quality.
