FIELD: crushing of materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary crusher includes body, crushing chamber, rotor with beaters, fire grate mounted on by means of horizontal articulation unit which is spring-loaded relative to body and is made in form of fixed axle secured on body; fire bars are made in form of double-arm levers mounted independently; each fire bar is spring-loaded by means of flat S-shaped springs; one end of such spring is secured on free end of fire bar and second free end is placed for engagement with horizontal shelf and crusher body during turn of fire bar. Fire bars are provided with cuts profiled according to arc of circle for engagement with axle; arm of lever on side of spring is rectangular in cross section and trapezoidal on remaining section; replaceable retainers located between fire bars are engageable with them; width of replaceable retainers is equal to preset slotted clearance between fire bars; parameters of fire grate are selected from relationship given in Description.
