FIELD: aircraft engine manufacture, possibly in aircraft-, ship making, automobile and tractor industry branches. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of removing protective coating, eliminating flaws, preparing surface and applying new protective coating; at repairing parts with protective coating of zirconium nitride before removal of coating softening it until complete peeling or swelling due to soaking vanes in bath at bubbling; arranging vanes in bath in staggered fashion while orienting them to one side by their inlet edge and placing them in such a way that spacing between inlet and outlet edges of adjacent vanes is no less than chord half of mean cross section of vane. Removal of protective coating and preparing surface for applying new protective coating are realized in tore-like vibration installation at working by means of ceramic pellets. After applying new protective coating its irregularities are levelled and it is compacted by means of steel balls. EFFECT: enhanced quality of repairing, improved reliability of repaired articles having protective coating of zirconium nitride, elimination of manual operations, enhanced surface roughness of repaired vanes. 2 cl
