Abstract RU 2094200 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering, aviation and other industries. SUBSTANCE: method involves flaw detection and removing surface layer from rejected blades by vibrational polishing in container; providing surface strengthening to enhance fatigue strength. Surface layer is removed by granules free of open pores. Medium used in the process may be weakly alkaline composition: NaOH, 460-650 g/l; NaNO O2, 170-250 g/l; water, up to 1 l. Container is imparted maximum horizontal and minimum vertical oscillation amplitudes. Surface strengthening is provided by blasting powdered nickel alloy containing at least 70% by weight of nickel with particle size of 50-100 micron. Powder stream is directed onto blade surface at variable angle of 90 deg to 1 deg. In the process of repair blade is urged to rotate in opposite directions to expand dent. EFFECT: increased efficiency in recovering blades and simplified method. 3 dwg
