FIELD: petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: paraffin hydrocarbon are brought into contact with catalyst based on high-silica zeolite ZSM-5 (53.28-59.69 wt %) at 350-380 C and contact products are separated into liquid and gaseous ones. The latter are completely combusted in presence of catalyst for full combustion of light hydrocarbons and combustion mixture containing carbon monoxide and water vapor is admixed to initial paraffin hydrocarbons in proportion 2.0 to 20.0 wt %. Zeolite ZSM-5 has SiO2/Al2O3 ratio 39 and contains, wt %: Al2O3, 35.5-37.5, B2O3 2.5-4.5, Zn 2.0-4.0, Re 0.2-0.5, Nd 0.01-0.02, and Na2O no more than 0.1. According to invention, in the first phase of process, light paraffin hydrocarbons (C3-C4) with 0.15-0.25 wt % sulfur level are introduced into reactor at 450-480 C in proper amount to ensure ratio of rhenium in zeolite catalyst to sulfur in hydrocarbons equal to 1: 25. EFFECT: increased yield of aromatic hydrocarbons, reduced power consumption, and prolonged process cycle. 2 ex
