SUBSTANCE: in one version, device for lubrication of polished rod includes vessel having protrusion with groove and radial holes located above bottom. Vessel top has cover with located above bottom. Vessel top has cover with diametrical cut and axial hole with annular groove. Elastomeric seal is not split and may be located for self-adjustment on polished rod in groove or under cover. Vessel is filled through filling appliance with lubricating fluid up to required level. Excessive fluid flows out through overflow hole. Fluid from vessel is drained through dump valve. In the other version, device for lubrication of polished rod has vessel. Attached to vessel wall is sleeve. Hollow stop is installed in sleeve. Installed on hollow stop is battle with lubricating fluid, with its throat downward. Level of lubricating fluid in vessel is maintained automatically by its required flow from bottle.
