METHOD OF TREATMENT OF PRODUCING CARBONATE FORMATION Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: oil producing industry; methods of oil recovery intensification from producing carbonate formations tapped by wells with open vertical and horizontal wellbores. SUBSTANCE: method includes lowering of tubing string into well, installation of tubing shoe within interval of treatment, injection of acid solution through tubing, and treatment of formation rock with acid solution. Preliminarily, before tubing lowering into well, intervals of treatment are selected in formation oil-saturated rocks. Tubing shoe is equipped with device having jet nozzles radially located over generating line at angles of 90 or 120 deg. Acid is injected into formation by portions by setting and alternating of acid portions with portions of sand-water solution of surfactant used for hydrosand jet treatment of formation. In so doing, alternating of acid hydraulic jetting and hydrosand jetting is effected during middle of each treatment interval. EFFECT: higher efficiency of acid treatment of producing carbonate formations due to additional abrasive jet treatment of solid oil-saturated intervals of open wellbore.
