FIELD: thermal engineering; condition inspection of boilers at thermal power stations. SUBSTANCE: meters monitor boiler condition and parameters of its components and continuously transfer information to unit wherein it is checked for reliability and sent to primary processing unit. Operational monitoring is organized herein for identifying boiler mode of operation, detected deviations of current variables from specified values, and source values for mathematical models. Constant and design data and also data parametrically dependent on measurement results also arrive at primary processing unit. Mentioned data and archive access unit provides for desired data stream to primary data processing unit wherefrom they are passed to mathematical models; in the latter continuous calculations are made of service period exhaustion due to static loads as result of creepage, cyclic loads as result of pressure or temperature fluctuations, microcycles at operational load changes, type of fuel, other operational factors where there is such loading. Mathematical model calculation results are conveyed to unit wherein they are processed, results are generated for all kinds of loads, generalized data, monitoring messages, report information, archives, and interface. Control unit provides for desired operation of mathematical models and processing unit and through the latter it acts on data base access unit to prepare next input information for calculations which is conveyed to primary processing unit. Data is submitted and communication with user is established through interface facilities. These data are entered in electronic repair log through interface facilities. Each message arriving at electronic repair log is classified, passes identification, and is conveyed through data conversion unit and influence corrector to data access and control units thereby influencing process for evaluating remaining life. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, robustness, static and dynamic precision of automatically evaluating remaining life of boiler components. 4 cl, 3 dwg
