FIELD: artillery armament, preparation of artillery complexes for shooting. SUBSTANCE: changes in diameter of bore in chamber and caliber parts in specified sections are measured along length with determination of bore profile. Depth of projectile feeding into worn-out bore of gun is established and more exact volume of chamber in space behind projectile is calculated by depth of feeding. Individual correction for change of initial velocity is determined by way of taking into account of more exact volume of chamber, bore wear-out and with allowance for properties of lot of rounds. Mentioned determination is found by means of proper computer program, then individual correction is entered to channel ΔV of ballistic computer of gun fire control system. EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination and due account of individual correction for value of initial velocity of projectile. 2 dwg
