METHOD DETERMINING PARAMETRIC CHARACTERISTICS OF BIOLOGICAL FLUIDS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medico-biological measurements, biological examinations, diagnostics. SUBSTANCE: method determining parametric characteristics of biological fluids, for example blood, consists in placement of certain volume of biological fluid in gap between plates positioned horizontally. Lower plate is detector- converter of ultrasonic oscillations which is exposed to ultrasound. Resonance peak of frequency and band of spread of resonance curve for unloaded detector-converter and under mode of examination of biological fluid are measured. Value of gap establishing thickness of layer of fluid is measured discretely with fixation of frequency peak and band of spread at each step. Diameter of erythrocytes and dynamic elasticity modulus of blood are determined by minimal value of shift of frequency peak and value of dissipative loss in layer of biological fluid and its dynamic viscosity are found by bands of spread.
