TECHNIQUE OF CASTING CONCRETE ON AIRFIELD AND ROAD PAVEMENT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: construction industry, placement and consolidation of concrete on airfield and road pavements of high reliability and resistance to high load during employment. SUBSTANCE: technique of casting concrete on airfield and road pavements includes installation of forms, laying of coarse aggregate and fittings, injection of binding mortar into intergranular space of coarse aggregate under simultaneous action of vibration and pressure to produce lower layer of structure, finishing of pavement surface. Coarse aggregate and fittings are laid along long side of structure in layers in zone with height equal to 0.4-0.6 thickness of structure. Binding mortar is injected into intergranular space of coarse aggregate to height less than thickness of layer of coarse aggregate by 0.3-0.5 mean diameter of grains. Finegrain concrete based on binder of low water requirements is cast on laid lower layer of structure and mineral fibers are sunk into it by means of vibration prior to operation of surface finishing. Thereupon pavement surface is finished and concrete should be cared. EFFECT: prolonged service life and reliability of pavement thanks to its increased resistance to operational and climatic actions.
