CAM WEDGE DISCONNECTION OF WELLHEAD EQUIPMENT FLANGED JOINT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas providing industry, particularly, servicing of wellhead equipment of injection wells on flanged joint. SUBSTANCE: cam wedge has wedge in form of end face two sided cam with handle and working sections on circular periphery. Wedge is located for possible entrance into space between flanges. There is hook with handle and mouth for diameter of fastening pins of flanged joint. Hook and cam are hinged together with help of axle parallel to axis of fastening pins. Cam has working motion in compliance with variation of gap between flanges for rated value. Hook is engaged with pin after unscrewing of nuts. Cam is turned round hinge and flanges are disconnected. EFFECT: higher labor productivity and labor safety in replacement of changeable member of flanged joint of wellhead equipment. 2 dwg
