FIELD: underground radio location. SUBSTANCE: antenna assembly that may be used for anticipatory inspection of earth mass for condition during tunnel penetration and also for probing building structures has resistor-loaded slit antennas. It is compact assembly of antennas that function to radiate and receive video pulses mainly in direction of earth shielded from noise and echo on side of airborne objects and is characterized in high attenuation decrement of inherent electromagnetic waves of antennas. Probing may be made both from ground surface and from face or from walls of tunnel being penetrated. Antennas are disposed right against or at certain distance from earth surface. EFFECT: enhanced resolving power of radar and improved isolation between transmitting and receiving antennas. 11 cl, 3 dwg
