FIELD: antenna systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna technology, in particular to antenna devices for use in geophysics, geology and radio communications for underground emission of radio signals in communication systems, well logging and in the study of subsurface layers of the earth by sounding using electromagnetic pulses. The technical result is achieved by the fact that a directional antenna for underground emission containing a transmitter with a differential output placed in a housing, an emitter made in the form of a resistively loaded dipole, and a metal screen, in contrast to the solutions known from the state of the art, is designed so that the transmitter housing and the last electrically conductive segments of the resistively loaded dipole are electrically connected to the metal screen, in this case, the resistively loaded dipole is fixed under the metal screen at a distance of 0.5 to 3 widths of the resistively loaded dipole with the possibility of moving in the vertical direction.
EFFECT: creation of an antenna for use in mines and wells with minimizing its size while maintaining or improving noise immunity.
