FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has lifting member designed as stiletto. To change the stilettos in correspondence to patient body dimensions, a handle is mounted on cylindrical bushing. The bushing is rigidly fixed on flat stiletto end surface. Rigid light guide is fixed on the other side of the stiletto. The longitudinal light guide axis coincides with the central stiletto axis. Light guide end is oriented in the towards the working stiletto end for illuminating operation space. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of inguinal hernia treatment; accelerated treatment course. 3 dwg
