FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves making tenotomy near the place the femoral adductor muscles are attached to the femur cavity. Musculus quadratus femoris tendon is transected in Z-shaped way near the place it is attached to the femur. Then, counter notches are done over musculotendinous part of iliopsoas muscle at different levels near the place of attachment to the lesser trochanter of the femur. After setting the endoprosthesis, musculus quadratus tendon ends are sutured together with some elongation to a value required for removing external rotation contractures in the articulation. EFFECT: restored para-articular muscle length; prevented postoperative complications.
