FIELD: sugar industry, in particular, reprocessing of sugar beet in conjunction with crude cane sugar. SUBSTANCE: method involves filtering first saturation sugar; liquoring crude sugar with non-filtered first saturation syrup until dry substance content is 40-60%; mixing first saturation syrup with produced melt liquor; defecating mixture in the presence of calcite for adsorbing high-molecular substances contained in melt liquor; after defecation, providing second saturation, filtering, sulfitation and evaporating sugar-containing solution to syrup; boiling fillmasses; centrifuging and drying sugar. Method allows melt liquor and first saturation syrup mixture to be effectively cleared. EFFECT: improved quality of syrup and increased sugar yield. 2 ex
