FIELD: magnetic and electric field generation in enclosed toroidal space and voltage transformation. SUBSTANCE: device of design alternate 1 has magnetic circuit and single-turn distributed magnetizing winding made in the form of two coaxially arranged toroidal tubes and conducting material provided with radial through split. Butt-ends of tubes are electrically interconnected on one side of slit by means of washer. On other side of slit tubes are connected to opposite poles of switch-mode power supply. Device of design alternate 2 has magnetic circuit and single-turn distributed magnetizing winding made in the form of two coaxially arranged toroidal tubes connected to power supply. Inner toroid accommodates turns of thin insulated wire that form secondary winding of step-up transformer. EFFECT: reduced mass and size, facilitated manufacture, reduced power requirement, enhanced efficiency and environmental friendliness of device. 2 cl, 2 dwg
