FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: molded polyurethane elastomer suitable for cup-type seals, diaphragms, sealings, pump membranes, and return springs in press equipment is produced by interaction of polyethylene glycol adipate/diethylene glycol mixture with 2,4-toluylenediizocyanate and, dissolved therein, basic triarylmethane violet dye followed by adding 3,3'-dichloro-4,4'- diaminodiphenylmetane. Molar ratio of polyethylene glycol adipate/diethylene glycol/2,4-toluylenediizocyanate/3,3'-dichloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenylmetane/basic triarylmethane violet dye is 1:1:3:1:(0.03-0.05).
