FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of high-filled boron-containing materials based on polycrystalline boron and polypropylene designed for use as structural materials on nuclear power plants. Method involves mixing polycrystalline boron with polypropylene followed by extruding composition through cast orifice 12-16 mm in diameter at 190-210 C. Mixture is then cooled and ground into powder, which is used to press parts.
