FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to submersible electric pumping units used for production of oil and pumping water out of inclined deviated and deviated wells. Proposed articulated cam joint contains spherical member articulated with pump housing and motor housing by means of lock and articulated coupling connected with extensions of pump and motor shafts. Housings of pump and motor are provided with conical and spherical flanges, respectively. Spherical member is made in form of spacer bushing whose spherical end face is mated with inner surface of spherical flange, and opposite end face provided with thrust ring with elastic element is coupled with conical flange. Lock is made in form of split holder coupling with spherical flange by means of cam joint, and with conical flange, by means of key joint. Holder is provided with bead whose inner surface is mated with inner surface of spherical flange. Articulated joint is furnished with limiting ring fitted on split holder. Articulated coupling is movably connected with output extensions of shafts. Spherical member, spherical flange and inner surface of bead are made for aligning centers of generatrices of their spheres with center of articulated coupling.
