AMMUNITION FOR FIREARM (MODIFICATIONS) Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2208216 C2

FIELD: armament. SUBSTANCE: the ammunition has a hardened case with a bottom made for opening at a shot, primer secured in the supporting member, propellant placed inside the case, shell permanently joined to the case with an annular groove made on its surface, and a packing band is made on the shell surface. The ammunition is provided with an additional movable bottom that is fixed in the case, pressed to the shell end and engageable with a flexible member. The shape of the shell located inside the case coincides with the shape of the movable bottom having tubs around the edges. Located in the shell is a chamber communicating through a check valve with the inner cavity of the case and having a duct of outlet to the movable bottom provided with a self-sealing pusher fixed in it. The supporting member of the primer is closed on the side of the shell and fixed in it against movement, and on the side of the primer it has annular grooves and holes. The bottom formed around the primer supporting member and sealed. According to the second modification of the invention, a folded stabilizer is positioned inside the case, whose blades have an antiweldable coating on the inner surface. One end of the stabilizer is hinge-joined to the end of the body of the power member. Positioned inside the body of the power member is a sealed piston-lock having on one side a stepped cone engageable with the stabilizer end, and on the other side-engageable with the power member made in the form of a bellows. According to the third modification of the invention, the ammunition is provided with a inner case that is connected in the shell with an outer case in the circumference radius. The inner and outer cases have the same shape as the shell end. A sharpened rod passes in the axis of the shell and inner case, it has flanges with the information container placed between them. A shock absorber is located between the flange and the shell. The inner case is closed on the side of the primer in the section of arrangement of the information container with a protective cap fixed on the inner case, connected to the end of which is a signal container accommodating the helical tube of the sound signal device outgoing to the primer burster and flame dissector and containing alternating sections of explosive and retarder. The signal container is made for generation of sound signals of different tonality, it also contains a substance releasing smoke and odor. Releasing smoke and odor. EFFECT: improved construction. 11 cl, 15 dwg
