FIELD: production of brush articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing brush articles with plastic bristles by continuously extruding bristles in the form of monofilament; cutting into pieces of desired length; attaching to holder in the form of individual bristles or bundles of bristle blocks; applying at least one substantially linear marking to monofilament after extrusion or to resultant bristles so that said marking is visible on bristle block on ready article as color contrasting marking positioned at distance from working ends of bristles and characterizing wear extent. Articles produced by said method have at least part of bristles provided with color contrasting substantially linear markings applied at distance from working ends of bristles and adapted for characterizing wear extent. Said markings continuously provide user with visible information on current state and brush wear extent regardless of actual abrasion extent in the process of use.
