FIELD: medical diagnosis. SUBSTANCE: the mass of the body, circumference of the thorax and the circumference of the abdomen are determined, measurements are taken at least two times in the time dynamics and by comparison of the difference between th indices of the sum of measurements of the circumference of the thorax with the circumference of the abdomen and the body mass the individual dynamics of the change the functional potentialities of the organism is estimated, and if the subsequent difference of measurements increases as compared with the previous difference of measurements, a reduction of the functional potentialities is stated.
