SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to clinical laboratory diagnostics, and is a method for assessing the adaptive reserves of the human body through the study of peripheral blood, characterized in that the blood serum of a man at least 1 time per year determines the level of DHEAS and cortisol, the DHEAS/cortisol index is calculated, and if it is equal to or higher than 2.1, the patient’s adaptation reserves are considered intact, when the value of the DHEAS/cortisol index is in the range of 1.1-2.1, the adaptation reserves are consumed, and when the value of DHEAS/cortisol is less than 1.1, the adaptation reserves are depleted.
EFFECT: invention provides an expansion of the range of tools that provide a quick and objective assessment of the adaptive reserves of the human body.
