METHOD FOR DETECTING FETAL STATE IN FEMALE MEDICINAL COLLABORATORS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2242930 C1

FIELD: medicine, perinatology.

SUBSTANCE: one should perform point estimation of risk factors for availability of perinatal pathology. As risk factors one should apply social-biological maternal ones, such as: mother's age, her professional experience, profile of her activities, the value of professional harmfulness, both somatic and gynecological indices, the number of complications during pregnancy. Then one should carry out the estimation of fetal state based upon the value of fetal biophysical profile index (Z) which should be calculated by the following formula: Z = 1.29*x1 + 15.31*x2 + 3.24*x3 + 0.77*x4 + 3.44*x5 + 0.9*x6, where x1 - mother's age, x2 - profile of her activities, moreover, x2 = 1 - for therapeutist, x2 = 2 - for mean-qualified medicinal personnel of therapeutic profile, x2 = 3 - for surgeon, x2 = 4 - for mean-qualified medicinal personnel of surgical profile, x3 - the number of complications during pregnancy, x4 - somatic index being equal to the number of diseases, x5 - gynecological index, the number of diseases, x6 - the value of professional harmfulness being equal, correspondingly to: x6 = -0.7y3 + 5y2 - 11.3y + 13 at x2 = 1 or 2; x6 = 0.4y + 3.5 at x2 = 3; x6 = -0.6y + 6.5 at x2 = 4, where y = 1,2,3 or 4 - the value of professional experience group: 1 - for a 1-4-yr-long experience period, 2 - for a 5-9-yr-long experience period, 3 - for a 10-14-yr-long experience period, 4 - above 14-yr-long experience period, and at Z index being above 54.18 one should evaluate fetal state as either pathological or doubtful. The method enables to increase possibilities of primary prophylaxis oriented to the decrease of complications in the course of pregnancy.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of detection.
