FIELD: applied electrochemistry; applicable in corresponding fields of engineering, particularly, medicine, food and other industries. SUBSTANCE: disinfecting solution is produced by treatment of initial aqueous solution of sodium chloride in cathode chamber of main diaphragm electrochemical reactor. Flow of treated solution is separated into two parts,m one of which is withdrawn from treatment cycle, and the other part is supplied for treatment cycle, and the other part is supplied for treatment in anode chamber of same reactor. After treatment in cathode chamber if main reactor and before separation, flow is successively treated in cathode and anode chambers of additional diaphragm electrochemical reactor. In treatment in main and additional reactors, treated solution in cathode chambers moves in direct flow or counterflow relative to direction of solution flow in anode chambers. In treatment by direct flow, concentration of sodium chloride in initial solution amounts to 1.0-5.0 g/l, with part withdrawn from treatment cycle of 2-5% and in treatment by counterflow amounts to 0.2-2.0 g/l and 0.5-3.0%, respectively. Technical results of claimed invention consists in deep removal of ions of heavy and alkaline - earth metals from produced solution, and consequently, extended field of its application, reduced corrosion activity of disinfecting solutions with their increased disinfecting and sterilizing abilities, reduced power consumption for production of these solutions, and also extended functional potentialities of technical solution due to increased terms of their serviceability and possible more effective regulation of properties of produced solutions during their electrochemical treatment, reduced operation expenditures.
