METHOD OF PREPARING DISINFECTING SOLUTION IN THE FORM OF NEUTRAL ANODIC LIQUOR Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: disinfecting agents in medicine and other areas. SUBSTANCE: neutral anodic liquor is prepared by mixing drinking water or low-mineralized aqueous solution with high-mineralized electrolyte solution followed by treatment of resulting solution in anodic chamber of primary diaphragm electrochemical reactor at electricity consumption 400 to 4000 coul/l and transfer of solution into anodic chamber of supplementary electrochemical reactor. Treatment in anodic chamber of supplementary reactor is conducted until pH 6.8-7.8 and redox potential +700 to +1100 mV against silver chloride reference electrode are reached. Cathode chambers of primary and supplementary electrochemical reactors are connected over flow circuit to tank with high-mineralized electrolyte solution. For mixing are supplied drinking water or low-mineralized aqueous solution and high-mineralized electrolyte solution is withdrawn from flow circuit. pH of auxiliary electrolyte circulating in cathodic chamber is maintained at the level not below 10 and treatment in supplementary electrochemical reactor is conducted at pressure in anodic chamber exceeding that in anodic chamber by 0.1-0.4 kg/sq.cm. High-mineralized electrolyte solution utilized is solution of sodium chloride or that of mixture of sodium chloride with inorganic and/or organic salts having total mineral level 50 to 300 g/l and ultrafiltration or nanofiltration ceramic diaphragm is used.
