FIELD: lighting devices for electric and radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: lamp that may be used as part of ultraviolet devices, as well as in process systems requiring radiation sources operating in long-wave ultraviolet range, for instance in spectroscopy or medicine, has bulb made of quartz glass and filled with inert gas and metered amount of mercury and two electrode assemblies; main electrodes are made of multiple-twisted spiral coated with material reducing work function of electrons; spiral is folded in the form of funnel with top secured on electrode stem; starting electrode is made in the form of pointed-end wire whose loose pointed end is fixed at distance of 2-3 mm from end of funnel base spiral of main electrode. Outer surface of bulb is covered with silicon-titanium coating which is fixed on its surface by drying while heating the bulb. EFFECT: enhanced bactericide radiation power; eliminated ozone formation during lamp operation. 1 cl, 1 dwg
