FIELD: medicine, hygienic treatment apparatuses using ultraviolet quartz lamps for air cleaning and process decontamination systems. SUBSTANCE: lamp whose bulb is made of quartz glass and filled with inert gas with metered amount of mercury has two electrode assemblies incorporating oxide-covered electrode that functions to reduce electron output work and is secured between two electrode pins each being connected to electrode contact foil stamped into bulb and with electrode contact; electrodes of electrode assemblies are made of spiral twisted many times; lamp bulb surface is covered with selectively translucent silicon-titanium solution of tetraethoxysilane and tetrabutoxytitanium followed by bulb drying out and heating to 600 C. Content of base components of solution is not over 5%. EFFECT: enhanced bactericide radiation power and ozone-free operation of lamp. 1 dwg
