FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves showing flickering luminous flow of constant frequency and smoothly changing flickering amplitude into a patient vision field until a value corresponding to perceptibility threshold is reached and evaluating vision fatigue degree on the basis of the data. Vision adaptation is carried out by supplying luminous flow to the testee vision field for 3-5 min. Then the luminous flow is modulated with flickering luminous flow of constant frequency. Flickering amplitude is varied by increasing it from zero to a value that causes the testee to notice light flickerings. EFFECT: high accuracy of measurements; improved comfort conditions.
