FIELD: mechanical engineering; load lifting facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed winch rope layer for winch drums contains roller gang installed on support frame from pull rope feed off side of drum. Said pull rope is passed through rollers of gang. Gang consists of two groups of rollers. Rollers on one group are arranged horizontally one over the other, while rollers of other group are installed vertically with clearance sufficient to pass pull rope in between directing the latter in free space formed by side surfaces of these rollers together with side surfaces of horizontal rollers. Winch rope hold-down device included into layer set consists of hold-down member installed on axle, bell crank installed on axle of rotation orientated horizontally along drum, and weight to be applied to hold-down member to provide constant pressure on hold-down member. Hold-down member is made of similar rollers installed on above-indicated axle of hold-down member along drum to come in contact with coils of rope on drum. Axle of rollers of hold-down member is rigidly coupled with one of arms of bell crank, and mass of said weight is applied to other arm. Axle of rotation of bell crank passes through holes in vertical posts rigidly secured on support for turning in said holes. Horizontally arranged rollers are installed for adjusting roller-to-roller distance and mounting to provide pressing to pull rope when winding rope onto drum with possibility of fitting them at a distance from each other to provide free passing of pull rope in between to wind off the rope. Layer can be furnished with more than one hold-down device for winch pull rope. EFFECT: improved reliability of pressing rope to drum. 2 cl, 5 dwg
