FIELD: technology of mounting of mining complexes powered support; applicable in coal industry. SUBSTANCE: according to the first version, method involves delivery of partially assembled support unit on transport platform to zone of assembly which is combined with zone of operation of handling device with its subsequent pulling to platform of said device located on transport means, on temporary guides. Then support unit is assembled. Transport means carrying support unit and handling device is moved over temporary guides to place of support unit installation. Transport means is pulled from under platform. It is lowered together with support unit to level of temporary guides surface. Support unit is pulled onto floor of mounting chamber and installed into working row, and transport means carrying handling device is returned to section of conjugation of assembly zone. According to the second version, handling device is stationary installed in assembly zone, i. e. on conjugation section where assembled support is pulled from said platform onto transport means, oriented to traveling position and moved to mounting chamber, to place of installation. Then support is pulled from transport means and installed into working row with use of pulling winches and angle blocks; and transport means is returned to conjugation section. Handling device realizing the said method includes base in the form of supporting plates, platform located above them, lifting hydraulic cylinders and pulling device. Lifting hydraulic cylinders are vertically located on supporting plates. Rods of lifting hydraulic cylinders freely pass through platform holes. Said holes are symmetrically located relative to platform longitudinal axis. Platform is connected with lifting hydraulic cylinder bodies by means of brackets rigidly secured to bodies. Pulling device is made of two hydraulic jacks, block system and two lengths of flexible members. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 21 dwg
