FIELD: technology of production of carbon-containing moldings; applicable in production of fuel briquettes or granules, sorbents, fertilizers and soil structure- formers. SUBSTANCE: plant has metering bins of initial ground components, components mixer, mixture activator, mixture molding device, frame mold dryer, frame mold cooler, automatic device for cutting, accumulation and loading of moldings to dryer. Plant has 2-6 metering bins, device for mixture activation installed in front of device for molding of briquettes or granules, device for mixture molding. A part of moldings dryer is made as moldings cooler. The second version of plant has 2-6 metering bins of initial components, conveyors for supply of components, mixture and moldings, mixture dryer installed ahead of activator, device for mixture molding. Both versions may have dryers for initial components and device for impregnation of moldings with liquid component which serves also as conveying means. EFFECT: reduced expenditures for production of carbon-containing moldings, extended raw material base of their production, and provision of wide range of useful properties of moldings which govern said fields of application. 4 cl, 5 dwg
