Abstract RU 2209252 C1

FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; treatment of ferroalloys. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes crushing of ferromanganese alloy, mixing it with dephosphotizing agent and keeping it at 900-950 C for 120 minutes. Used as dephosphorizing agent is mixture of NaCl-Na2CO3(1-3:1) with ferromanganese at ratio of 1:1-2. Proposed method makes it possible to obtain ferromanganese at content of phosphorus of 0.18% from standard concentrates, carbonate concentrates inclusive and to fully return sodium chloride for repeated process.
