FIELD: applying oxide coats on parts made from aluminum alloys; restoration of gear pump housing wells including hardening. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes electrode, bath- electrolyzer, power source, electrolyte tank and electrolyte priming system; housing of bath-electrolyzer is connected with first terminal of power source and electrode is connected with second terminal; it is made in form of two hollow cylinders interconnected by means of strip and mounted in wells of gear pump housing which perform function of bath- electrolyzer; each cylinder of electrodes is additionally provided with ceramic sprayer mounted in its lower portion and pipe union fitted in upper portion; they are intended for supply of compressed air to oxidation zone for bubbling of electrolyte and surface of part being oxidized.
