UNDERGROUND MINIATURE GARAGE FOR INDIVIDUAL CARS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: car keeping systems. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention consists in increased efficiency and degree of safety of cars in underground small-scale spaces without use of any external energy for car descent and ascent. This technical result is achieved as underground miniature garage for individual cars has platform with parallel guides possessing locks, car handling facility made in the form of two identical lever-and joint systems positioned along side walls of garage and bearing against own axle. Each system has two crossing levers with common rotation point and counterweights. In correspondence with invention garage is fitted with cage container mounted for vertical movement, linked to platform and carrying roof made fast to columns and struts. Container includes mirror anchored on one column and stoppers to fix container are put on planes of guides, in their face parts. Crossing levers of system has short and long arms. End of each short arm carries equal-armed hinged joint with rollers on butts aligned with guides positioned on platform and on bottom panel of garage. End of each long-armed lever has counterweight to ensure balancing of mass of container with roof and platform. Lever-and-joint system is equipped with underarm units hinged to levers and located beneath long arms of levers to which counterweights with mechanism controlling change of their masses to balance mass of car, locks linking and unlinking levers. System controlling counterweights includes turnstile located on platform. EFFECT: increased efficiency and safety of cars in underground small-scale spaces. 5 cl, 12 dwg
