FIELD: mechanical engineering; steam power plant with turboset. SUBSTANCE: proposed steam power plant with turboset has steam turbine and generator. In process of operation of steam power plant, water (W) is injected in heating surface of superheater or before said surface. For this purpose, according to invention, for quick control of power of said steam power plant, flow rate of injected water (W) is increased to adjust excess power of generator. In steam power plant most suitable for implementing the method, heating surface of superheater of steam generator is furnished with water injector connected with regulator module to adjust flow rate of water (W) injected into heating surface. Regulator module generates control signal for water injector depending on required excess power of generator. EFFECT: provision of reliable and quick power control at low expenses. 8 cl, 1 dwg
