GEAR AND METHOD OF EXCITATION OF ELASTIC VIBRATION AND HYDRAULIC SEAM FRACTURE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: additional prospecting for oil fields and intensification of its production. SUBSTANCE: gear for excitation of elastic vibrations and hydraulic seam fracture is made of depression chamber manufactured from tubing strings, starting mechanism and instrument head and is sunk on geophysical cable. Depression chamber is equipped with two hydraulically balanced suction valves located on ends faces of chamber. They open in turn with the aid of starting mechanism comprising electromagnetic relay, starting chamber and hydraulically balanced starting valve. With opening of suction valves depression chamber is filled with well fluid practically instantly. In this case zone of decreased pressure is created in well establishing conditions for formation of repression water pressure in the range from 0.1 to more than twofold value of hydrostatic pressure with space of depression chamber from 6.0 to 200.0 l depending on purposes of employment of gear: for hydraulic seam fracture or for excitation of elastic vibrations. Method of excitation of elastic vibrations is based of usage of hydrodynamic process of interaction of well with depression chamber. Interaction causes variations of column of fluid in well. Entire cycle of usage of mentioned-above gear for creation of repression water hammer is monitored remotely by pressure transducer. EFFECT: simplification and reduced cost of method, possibility of multiple repetition of it under required mode with recording of all dynamics of occurring process. 2 cl, 1 dwg
