SUPPORT-ROTATING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2209495 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering; driving antennas, television cameras, and the like. SUBSTANCE: device has first rotating mechanism with rotating unit that mounts second rotating mechanism with rotating platform. Mechanisms are provided with rotating unit and rotating platform drives connected by means of conductors to electrical connectors. Each base is cylindrical in shape; rotating unit is made in the form of hollow shaft that mounts fixed gear wheel; hollow shaft of rotating unit and rotating platform shaft are disposed inside first and second bases, respectively; hollow shaft is protruding on one butt-end of first base and second base is secured on this shaft extension; inner cavity of first base communicates with that of second base through inner space of hollow shaft. Slab is fixed on opposite extensions of rotating platform shaft protruding from second base. Drive of each rotating mechanism is disposed inside respective base in annular space between the latter and respective shaft. Connectors are disposed on butt end of first base opposite to hollow shaft extension. Conductors running from drive of second rotating mechanism are laid inside hollow shaft. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, enlarged functional capabilities of device. 1 cl, 1 dwg
