ELECTRIC DRIVE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2216667 C1

FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in drives of automatic systems of space vehicle motors. Proposed drive contains electric motor and reduction gear installed in common housing. Two blind cylindrical bores are made in housing from opposite sides. First bore accommodates electric motor and second bore, output shaft of reduction gear and space formed by housing walls to communicate said bores. High-speed bearings and one output shaft bearing are arranged in housing. Intermediate shaft and its bearings are installed in cutout of housing. Second bearing of output shaft is arranged in housing. Second bearing of output shaft is arranged in housing cover. Gear and gear wheel of high-speed shaft of reduction gear are located in first bore, and gear wheel of intermediate shaft is located in space communicating the bores. Gear of high-speed shaft is located between gear wheel of high-speed shaft and bottom of first bore. Bearings of intermediate shaft are placed between gear and gear wheel of intermediate shaft. Gear wheel of intermediate shaft is made removable, and it is fixed in axial direction by spring ring installed on end of intermediate shaft near electric motor. EFFECT: improved manufacturability of electric drive, increased vibration stability. 3 dwg
