FIELD: equipment for grinding hard materials. SUBSTANCE: drum-type mill has multiple-section drum. Each drum section is assembled of rectangles composed of large and small rectangles and two similar trapeziums, whose lower bases are equal to side of large rectangle and upper bases are equal to side of small rectangle. Sides of trapeziums are equal to other two sides of large and small rectangles to form squares positioned at section ends and inclined to different sides and to section axes. Said squares form spiral broken-line tunnel with rectangular working section. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 9 dwg
