FIELD: process engineering, mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to loose materials mixers. Proposed mixer comprises bed supporting revolving drum made up of sections that consist of larger and smaller rectangles and two identical trapezoids with lower bases equal to larger rectangle side. Trapezoid lower bases are equal to larger rectangle sides, while upper bases equal smaller rectangle sides. Trapezoid sides equal two remaining sides of larger and smaller rectangle sides to form squares inclined in opposite directions with respect axis of squares sections. Every section, when sections are interjointed, is turned through 90° with respect to previous one to form zigzag-like hollow helical tunnel.

EFFECT: higher quality of loose materials mixing.
